Nneka Caroline Ukpe is a seasoned Auditor at the management level within the Supreme Audit Institution of Nigeria, possessing over two decades of expertise in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and risk management. With a profound comprehension of financial regulations, compliance, and governance. Nneka has firmly established herself as an accomplished professional in her domain.
She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from London South Bank University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Additionally, she is a proud member of the Certified National Accountants of Nigeria.
As an Assistant Director of Audit, she has had the privilege of serving across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, demonstrating exceptional leadership capabilities while spearheading audit teams and executing intricate audits that enhance financial management and accountability. Nneka's extensive experience has ingrained in her the paramount importance of integrity, objectivity, and transparency in the auditing profession.
Nneka's key areas of expertise encompass auditing and financial analysis, risk management and corporate governance, financial reporting and compliance, as well as leadership and team management. She has successfully undertaken complex audit assignments, including the auditing of natural resource development, Federation Accounts, and the Ministry of Regional Development, among other Departments and Agencies.
She has also participated in a diverse array of professional training programs encompassing Financial Audit, Compliance Audit, Regulatory Audit, Work Ethics, and the Leadership Enhancement Programme spearheaded by the Presidency/Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
